 This course is designed to provide students with enhanced skills needed
to manage the ill or injured casualty within the first few minutes until handover to a medical service. Subjects include: The pre-hospital environment, basic life support, patient assessment, respiration & airway management, defibrillation, circulation & shock, medical & trauma related emergencies, oropharyngeal airways, oxygen supplementation.
