This is the first part of the development towards HPC Paramedic status. The course consists of 3 modules (D,E & F) and requires the student to complete theoretical and practical assessments. Full qualification as an IHCD Ambulance Technician is dependent on satisfactory completion of a one year probationary period for an NHS Ambulance Service Trust. A Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or Disclosure Scotland enhanced disclosure information will be required. There are continual assessments throughout the course. Applicants must hold a current UK driving licence.
