Ambulance Paramedic Course

Consists of 3 modules (G,H & I) and requires the student to complete theoretical and practical assessments set by the IHCD (now part of Edexcel) & the HPC. All applicants must have successfully completed IHCD Technician modules D,E & F, and satisfactorily completed a one year probationary period with an NHS Ambulance Service Trust, and satisfactorily completed the work-based assessment programme. A Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or Disclosure Scotland enhanced disclosure information will be required. A four week hospital placement is included in the course. Applicants must hold a current UK driving licence.
