Control Room Staff go up a Band  Control room staff have seen their appeal succeed and have now gone up one band in Scotland and most English Services. Control Room Dispatchers were originally banded into band 3 of A4C and Call Takers in band 2. Working hours
All staff full time will work a basic week of 37.5 hrs.
There is a "phasing in" process in which
full time staff whose hours are slightly higher or lower than this will gradually reduce or increase their
hours over a number of years to get to the standard 37.5hrs. O/T
& Public Holidays
All overtime will be paid at a standard rate of time and a half. All hours worked during public holidays
will be paid at double time. Annual

Staff will receive an entitlement as set out in the table below

Pay Bands
All NHS job profiles have had a job evaluation. The duties and responsibilities, including things like
environmental working conditions, stressful situations, level of responsibility, equipment use, skills and
training levels have been assessed and each job has been slotted into one of 11 pay bands.
